Meeting Minutes—June 22, 2006

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—The City of Salem, 120 Washington Street, Salem, MA.  The purpose of this hearing is to discuss improvements to and existing embankment within a buffer zone to an inland bank and to install a check valve on the existing outfall pipe at Brook Street.

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—DEP #64-422—Richard & Susan Bresnahan, 60 Bay View Avenue, Salem, MA.  The purpose of this hearing is to discuss repairs to an existing granite seawall within a Coastal Beach, Buffer Zone to a Coastal Bank, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage at 60 Bay View Avenue.

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—DEP #64-416—Karen Venezia, 2 Cedarview Street, Salem, MA.  The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the construction of a stone retaining wall within a Riverfront Area at 2 Cedarview Street.

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—DEP #64-414—Salem State College, 352 Lafayette Street, Salem, MA.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the proposed construction of a new NCAA Baseball Field on the GTE/Sylvania Glass Landfill Cap and the existing baseball field (Jackman Field) at 71 Loring Avenue.  The project will occur in a Riverfront Area, Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage, Coastal Bank, and buffer zone to a Costal Bank.
Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—DEP #64-413—Pasquanna Developers, Inc., 31 Collins Street Terrace, Lynn MA 01902.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the activities associated with the implementation of a Release Abatement Measure (RAM) Plan within a Buffer Zone to Costal Bank and Riverfront Area at 18 Thorndike Street.

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent— DEP #64-418—Osborne Hills Realty Trust, P.O Box 780, Lynnfield, MA  01940.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the proposed construction of a roadway, utilities, and stormwater management facilities for a 129-lot subdivision off of Marlborough Road.

Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—David Jalbert, 75 North Street, Salem, MA.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the addition to an existing building located within a Riverfront Area, Buffer Zone to a Coastal Bank, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage at 75 North Street.

Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—Massachusetts Electric Company, d.b.a National Grid, 55 Bearfoot Road, Northborough, MA 01532.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the removal, replacement, and addition of equipment within the existing substation yard and the installation of approximately 250 linear feet of buried duct bank within a Riverfront Area, Buffer Zone to a Costal Bank, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage at 25 Peabody Street.

Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—Neptune LNG, LLC, One Liberty Square, 10th floor, Boston, MA  02109.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the construction of an underwater, buried gas transmission pipeline in association with its proposed Deepwater Port, located offshore in Massachusetts Bay.

Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC, 890 Winter Street, Suite 300, Waltham, MA 02451.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the Northeast Gateway Lateral Pipeline Project in Salem, which includes modifications to the existing meter station as well as 1.63 miles of pipeline, located offshore in Massachusetts Bay.
